S.; 1999) – study developed by Quercus – ANCN to understand the main psychosocial factors for modal choice considering bus. A Psychosocial Model for modal choice was developed.

Resilience, Safety, Risk Communication and Communities’ Engagement

  • RESILENS – International Project funded by European Commission under Horizon 2020 program. This project aims to de-fine guidelines and training programs for enhancing the resilience of critical infra-structures, including transport infra-structure (2015-2018).
  • Development of the guidelines on road safety for the Handbook of Environmental Impact Assessment to ANE – Autoridade Nacional de Estradas in Mozambique (2012)*
  • Development of checklists to support the design for Road Safety measures on a project; and development of grids to check that Road Safety measures were performed. Project developed for Estradas de Portugal (2009).
  • Definition of the Road Safety measures to be included on the requalification project for National Road 125 in Algarve (2009).
  • Coordinating the development of a set of four books and CD’s of Road Safety for preschool aged children (2007 – 2009).
  • Road Safety guidelines for sustainable mobility project of Pinheirinho (2004-2005)
  • Road Safety guidelines for sustainable mobility project of Mata de Sesimbra Sul (2003-2005)

  • Developing an environmental and social assessment of Nampula and Zambézia provinces and performing an evaluation of road projects to select the projects to be funded by European Union Development Aid (Environmental and Social Specialist)
  • Development of the guidelines on how to perform Social Impact Assessment for the Handbook of Environmental Impact Assessment to ANE – Autoridade Nacional de Estradas in Mozambique (2012)*
  • Consultancy at Rodoviária de Lisboa, S.A.. Work performed on assessment of Passengers and Workers Stress and Atti-tudes, as well as assessment of passengers’ attitudes and use of the Real-time Information System. The results of these studies were shared with local municipalities since they present useful information for managing shelters and to sketch bus lines (2000-2003).
